Greg Van Huis, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 2, 2024.
Greg spent his entire career in the building and remodeling business. He was a talented wood worker and craftsman. He loved spending time with his family up at the cabin. He also enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing.
Greg is survived by his wife Kathy Van Huis of 42 years; daughter, Katie (Jim) Dratz; son, Andy Van Huis; grandchildren, Chip and Daniel; mother-in-law, Edna Vander Sluis; in-laws, Nancy (Mark) Staples, Sandy Ryzenga, David (Corry) Vander Sluis; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents, John and Marilyn Van Huis.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423.
The Funeral will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Calvary Reformed Church, 995 East 8th St. Holland, MI 49423.
