SPRING LAKE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 28, 2024) – A 28-year-old Wyoming man is expected to recover from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash east of Spring Lake on Sunday afternoon.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies and other first responders were dispatched to the area of 144th Avenue and Leonard Street around 3:30 PM. That was where the vehicle, driven by the unnamed motorist, was southbound on 144th when it lost control, went off of the roadway, through a ditch, crossed Leonard Street, went through another ditch, and then rolled over. Concerns about a possible vehicular fire proved to be unfounded, and the driver had to be extricated by rescue workers and transported to an undisclosed hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No other details surrounding the circumstances that led to the crash were initially revealed as the incident remains under investigation.
