PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 24, 2024) – The 2024 Ottawa County Fair reaches its halfway mark on Wednesday, upon the conclusion of the third day of six days of activities.
With carloads admitted for a $10 single price, the 4-H horse show begins a half hour before the gates open at the fairgrounds (1286 Ottawa Beach Rd., Park Twp.), followed by the cat show. The “WHTC Talk of the Town” program will be broadcast live from 9 AM-11:30 AM from the Beer Tent, with Carey Koele and Brent Kerwhecker of the Koele Godfrey Investment Group, along with Rob Simpson of the Salvation Army of the Holland Area and Holland Area Veterans Council President Ed Lopez on hand for interview segments.
Seniors’ Day events include exhibits from the Ottawa County Parks Department, Resthaven, Inter-med, Evergreen Commons, and MVP Sportsplex; pie from Russ’ restaurants and ice cream from Dairy Dayz; an Elvis tribute show; bingo; and a classic car show. The Elliott Amusements Midway opens at 2 PM; Michael Costello performs in the Community Tent; and the Elliott’s Monster Truck Show is in the Grandstand.
