PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 20, 2024) – In the midst of a bastion in Dutch heritage comes an annual cultural event that has already gained more than a foothold along the Lakeshore in two short years.
The third Holland Waterfront Celtic Festival and Highland Games begins on Friday evening with a céilí for those 21 and older, according to organizer Craig Rich.
The bulk of the activities at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds (1286 Ottawa Beach Rd.) is on Saturday, where a $12 ticket gets you access to a plethora of events and attractions.
It’s the second year that the festival has been held at the Fairgrounds after beginning at Window on the Waterfront in 2022, and Rich has seen it take hold not only in this community, but among those in the Scottish-Irish-Highland Games circuit.
