UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, June 12, 2024) – Officials in Holland and Zeeland are hopeful that predicted rain and storms stay away from the Lakeshore this Thursday evening to allow summer fun events to take place as scheduled.
The Gentex Street Performer Series begins its 10-week run along 8th Street, between Columbia and River avenues. Kara de Alvare of Downtown Holland says that this 20-year summer tradition runs through August 15th.
Meanwhile, Zeeland’s fourth annual Chalk Festival will be merged with Music on Main, as seven invited artists will be joined by youngsters across from City Hall on Elm Street to make creations from 1 to 4 PM, followed by public judging, food trucks, outdoor games, and live music.
Mayor Kevin Klynstra is looking forward to it.
