GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 10, 2024) – An annual effort to extend the life of Ottawa County roads begins on Monday.
Road Commission crews will be working on chip sealing nearly 62 miles of streets in Crockery, Polkton, Spring Lake and Wright townships. According to Commission spokesman Alex Doty, nearly $2.3 million in state transportation fund dollars was budgeted for this effort that should last about six weeks, depending on the weather.
The roads affected won’t be entirely closed to traffic.
