HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 23-year-old man had to shout for help after the the 2002 Chevrolet Impala he was driving left the road, hit a mailbox and utility box, a cement wall and a tree, then rolled over.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene after an area resident called 911 to report of a man yelling on Leonard Street near Eighth Street at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020.
Police found the Impala upside down and the injured man lying nearby. He’d been able to get out of the car. Police were unable to determine whether or not he’d been wearing a seatbelt.
He went by ambulance to an area hospital with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.
