HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — An 89-year-old Hudsonville woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a Georgetown Township crash, just before 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s investigators found that a 42-year-old Zeeland woman, at the wheel of a 2012 Honda Pilot, was turning left into a gas station parking lot, and did not see an oncoming 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.
The Malibu, with the 89-year-old Hudsonville woman at the wheel, had a green light and was headed south through the intersection on 48th Avenue.
The driver of the Malibu was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. Police ticketed the Zeeland woman for failing to yield to oncoming traffic.
