HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 6, 2024) – Three years after Holland city planners had first approved a 200-plus housing project, a ceremonial ground breaking took place on Thursday.
When completed sometime in 2025, HōM Flats at 24 East, at the corner of East 24th Street and Waverly Road, will have 202 units, with central air, in-unit washer and dryer, cable and fiberoptic connectivity, dishwasher and garbage disposal in each unit. It will also include an 88-hundred square-foot community and childcare center, along with five thousand square feet of commercial space.
According to City Manager Keith Van Beek, rentals of 162 of these units will be made affordable.
That state approval came this past January. New York-based developer Magnus Capital Partners is already in the Holland area with HōM Flats at Felch Street on the North Side near the Shops at Westshore.
