Willard “Bill” Postma age 89, of Zeeland, passed into glory with his personal Savior on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
He was an active member of Bauer Christian Reformed Church where he served as a deacon. He retired from Dewent Gravel. He enjoyed hunting, golf, bowling, and visiting friends.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Coralyn; children, Tim Postma; Tammy (Randy) Van Doeselaar; 4 grandchildren, Hanna (Jake) Premer, Wil Van Doeselaar, Maggie Van Doeselaar, Emma Postma; Sisters and brother, Stella Postma, Sherm (Angie) Postma, Carol Koetje; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings and in-laws, Ethel (August) Wagner, Jo (Floyd) Van Slooten, Howard (Adele) Postma, Floyd (Ruth) Postma, John Postma, Fritz Postma, Phil (Sara) Postma, Paul Postma; John (Marge) Olthof, Henry (Galdys) Olthof, George (Paula) Olthof, Charles (Sandy) Olthof.
Funeral services with military honors will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Bauer Christian Reformed Church, 4958 Bauer Road, Hudsonville, with Rev. Dave Ten Clay officiating. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
