(Reuters) – A court in Pakistan has overturned the prison sentence of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday in a case pertaining to the leaking of state secrets, local broadcaster ARY news and his lawyer said.
Khan, 71, was previously handed a 10-year prison sentence by a lower court in the case on charges of making public a classified cable sent to Islamabad by Pakistan’s ambassador in Washington in 2022.
