HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 19-year-old Jenison man suffered multiple injuries in a traffic crash between his 2001 Suzuki motorcycle and a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer.
the crash, at Fillmore Street and 28th Avenue, happened just before 6:30 p.m., Oct. 22, 2020 in Georgetown Township. Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill said the man on the motorcycle was headed west on Fillmore, but at a curve in the road just west of 28th, he lost control of the machine.
The Suzuki crossed the center line on Fillmore, hitting the Trailblazer, which has a 16-year-old Wyoming boy at the wheel.
The Jenison man went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth with what Dill called multiple non-life threatening injuries; the Wyoming teen was not physically injured.
