TOKYO (Reuters) – A key measure of Japan’s trend inflation slowed to 1.3% in March, marking the smallest year-on-year increase in 11 months, data showed on Tuesday.
The rise in the weighted median inflation rate, which is closely watched as an indicator of whether price rises are broadening, followed a 1.4% increase in February, Bank of Japan data showed.
