ALLEGAN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 22, 2024) – A 26-year-old Allegan woman was hospitalized after her motorcycle crashed north of Allegan on Sunday evening.
According to Allegan County Sheriff’s Sergeant Brandon Berens, deputies and other first responders were dispatched to the area of 34th Street south of 122nd Avenue just after 6 PM. That was where the unnamed biker’s machine had crashed while attemping to make a left hand turn around the curved intersection.
The biker was sent to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of critical injuries. Berens said that speed did appear to be a factor in the crash, but disclosed no other details, as the incident remains under investigation.
