Mexico will not ask Ecuador ambassador to leave country, top diplomat says

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena said on Monday that Ecuador’s ambassador to the country will not be asked to leave, days after Ecuadorean police raided Mexico’s embassy in Quito, triggering a break in bilateral relations.
