Lois Ann Harsevoort, 88, of Zeeland, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024. Lois was born September 19, 1935, in Zeeland. She was the daughter of Nella (Vereeke) Kraak. Lois attended Zeeland Schools and later married Alvin J. Harsevoort. Lois and Alvin were charter members of Community Reformed Church. Alvin preceded her in death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Harsevoort.
She is survived by her children: Mark Harsevoort, Michelle Leroux, Mary and Tom Westenbroek, Matt and Dawn Harsevoort; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, in-laws: Gret and John Heuvelman, John Vander Kooi, Marie and Eugene Spoelman, Virginia Harsevoort, Adeline and Larry Nykamp; and many extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 26, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Visiting hours will be 9:45-10:45 AM prior to the funeral service.
