UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – The fifth of six regular season Friday Night Lights along the Lakeshore is on tap for this evening.
At Zeeland Stadium, the East Chix are home to the Holland Dutch. Greg Chandler’s coverage starts at 6:40 PM on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC.
If there are no new developments in the week-long COVID 19 outbreak at Saugatuck High, the Galesburg-Augusta Rams are slated to provide the visiting opposition to the Orange and Blue at Jarvis Memorial Field. Coverage begins at 6:40 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van. The coronavirus outbreak at the school that began last Friday forced Saugatuck to forfeit its scheduled contest with visiting Delton Kellogg, it’s first such recorded noncompetitive setback in 62 years.
Other match ups include Spring Lake at Holland Christian, Hudsonville versus West Ottawa at Harbor Lights Middle School, Zeeland West at Muskegon, and Hamilton versus Unity Christian at Baldwin Middle School.
Fennville has already forfeited its second straight game, with Parchment already recording a 2-0 triumph because the injury-riddled Blackhawks cannot field a team. Fennville had to call off last Friday’s contest at Constantine under similar circumstances.
