Martha was born to Theodore and Louise LeForge in 1930. She was a long time resident of Lake City and a member of Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church and in her latter years attended Central Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed playing the organ at church and teaching Sunday School at the Wesleyan Church in Detroit. She very much loved working in the kitchen for Lake City School District, the children were the highlight of her days.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers, Robert and Ted LeForge; Sisters, Roberta and Beth LeForge; and in-laws Jim Fuller and Dorothy LeForge.
Surviving members of her family are her Sister, Sharon Fuller; Sister-in-law, Wanda LeForge; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to send their appreciation to everyone who cared for Martha these past 2 years, from direct care staff to dietary and housekeeping staff. Their hearts go out to those of you who formed a special friendship with her.
A Celebration Of Life will be held on April 26, 2024 at 12pm with a lunch to follow.
