John (Jack) Palmer III, age 75, passed away on January 5th 2024. John was born in Holland, Michigan on December 6th, 1948 to John and Lorraine (Jaarda) Palmer. He graduated from Holland High School in 1967 and went onto a career as a machinist and tool and die, including co-owning Premier Tool and Die for 18 years with his cousin, Dale.
John is survived by: his daughter, Miranda Hayes and his grandchildren, Ethan Westra, Dakota Westra and Gavin Hayes. He is also survived by: four sisters, Judy VanArk, Jerri (Doug) MacPherson, Julie (Bob) Gagnon and Jean Palmer and many nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by: his parents and brother in law, Bill VanArk.
A visitation for John will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland, MI 49424, followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or American Cancer Society.
