Robert Lee Rynbrandt Sr., 77, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Bob was born in Burnips, Michigan, on the Rynbrandt family farm January 15, 1946, to Kenneth and Wilma (Ritz) Rynbrandt. Bob graduated from Hudsonville High School and started his career at Herman Miller in 1966. He retired from purchasing at Herman Miller in 1995 and co-founded Global Concepts with Rudy Broekhuis and Jay Kang. Bob stopped serving as the Global Concepts President a few years ago, but still enjoyed his work consulting for them.
Bob married Linda Grit in 1965 and they raised their three children in Zeeland. Bob and Linda are members of Hope Church. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law Henry and Joanne Grit, and his brother Ronald Kenneth Rynbrandt.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda, son Robert Lee Rynbrandt Jr., daughter Jennifer (Todd) Loucks, son Christopher Joel Rynbrandt; two grandchildren, siblings: Donna (Roger) Miller, Margaret (Paul) Glenn; in-laws: John Grit, Bill Grit, Debra (Fred) Tharpe, Jeff (Rachel) Grit, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Hope Church, 77 W. 11th Street, Holland MI 49423. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 prior to the memorial service at Hope Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Global Concepts Founders Scholarship Fund C/O Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland, or Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence.
