Beverly (Poll) Craft, 80, was welcomed to heaven and into the arms of Jesus on January 1, 2024.
Beverly was born on December 12, 1943 in Holland, MI. She graduated from Holland High School and Michigan State University. After graduation, she interned in Colorado Springs, CO as a lab technician. Following her internship, she served with President Kennedy’s Peace Corp on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona. She then moved to the Port Orchard, Washington area where she worked in medical clinics. Later in life, Beverly served as a missionary in Tanzania Africa. After becoming ill, she returned to Holland to recover and serve as a care-giver for her parents as both entered the journey with Alzheimer’s disease. Beverly continued to care for them until they passed away. She later relocated to Zeeland until she also became afflicted with Alzheimer’s and moved to Resthaven.
Beverly was was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Lillian Poll, her brother Robert Poll and brother-in-law Lee Teerman. Beverly is survived by her sisters Lou Jeanne Teerman and Jacquelin Poll-Molette and brother Rich (Pam) Poll along with several nieces and nephews.
A small memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Beverly’s family would like to thank the very caring staff at Resthaven and her special friends Jane and Daryl.
