On Wednesday, the court office in Grand Haven announced that Mark Feyen will not seek reelection this coming November, retiring after 35 years on t he bench as Ottawa County’s longest-ever serving Probate Court Judge. The mentally ill, the addicted, the disabled, the abused, and the marginalized are often people with amazing stories of hope, courage and resilience. It has been my pleasure to have played a small part in helping them build better lives.” – Judge Mark Feyen
In the retirement statement from the court office, Feyen is quoted as looking forward to spending more time with his wife, children and nine grandchildren.
