HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 19-year-old Holland man was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash on Holland’s North Side during the overnight hours on Sunday.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Matthew Wildfong, first responders were dispatched to the area of US-31 and Felch Street around 4:30 AM on a report of a rollover crash. They found an automobile in a field near VanOmmen Drive, with its driver pinned inside.
An investigation revealed that the motorist was southbound on US-31 when he lost control of the vehicle. After being extricated by rescue workers, the unnamed man was taken to an undisclosed medical facility for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
