HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 15, 2023) – The call is out for Klompen around at Holland’s annual signature event.
On Thursday, officials of the Tulip Time Festival issued an invitation for anyone interested in Dutch Dancing for the 95th celebration. Those who may not have any experience in promenading in wooden shoes can join a Community Dutch Dance program, while youngsters wishing to be a part in Kinder, Middel and High School Dutch Dance have until January 24th to register.
Other items announced by the festival is making the First Bloem artwork unveiling ceremony open to the public, with tickets going on sale during the second week in January; volunteer registration begins on January 9th; and the annual Dutch Costume Sale is set for March 16th.
