HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 28, 2023) – The second of three holiday parades involving three of the four cities in the Lakeshore vicinity is on Tuesday evening.
The Holland Parade of Lights begins at the corner of East 8th Street and Columbia Avenue at 6:30 PM, as 75 floats, trucks, antique vehicles, walkers and marching bands, all decked out in thousands of sparkling lights, will be ahead of the arrival of Santa Claus, before converging at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place.
Mayor Nathan Bocks and his fellow City Council members will be in attendance.
Zeeland had its Magical Christmas Parade on Monday night, while Saugatuck’s Holiday Parade is late (11 AM at Wickes Park) on Saturday morning. Fennville doesn’t have a parade this year, but the second annual Holiday Market is on Saturday from 12 Noon to 7 PM in the old Forever Curious Children’s Museum Building (202 E. Main Street).
