Rusty was born in the spring of 1930 in Harvey, IL to John and Marie (Staminger) Dunning. He worked for G.E. for over 25 years until retirement. Rusty was a member of Holland Masonic Lodge and 1st United Methodist Church. He drove charter buses, and arranged, hosted, and drove bus tours for many years. He will be fondly remembered for being a passionate Chicago Cubs fan and a train enthusiast. He loved Country Music and we will miss him singing his favorite tunes. Rusty passed having never met a stranger, only someone destined to be a new friend.
Rusty is survived by his wife of 67 years, Norma; children Kathleen Dunning, Michael (Evi) Dunning, and Laura Dunning; granddaughter Emily Dunning; many extended family and friends.
A private graveside service will take place at West Drenthe Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Resthaven Care Center in Holland or to Hospice of Holland.
