HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 7, 2023) – The Holland Aquatic Center is more than just a community swimming pool.
That’s evident with a Wednesday announcement of a partnership with The Center for Physical Rehabilitation. Therapists with the Grand Rapids-based entity will, beginning on October 2nd, offer services within the HAC through a 2,474 square-foot dry land clinic with an adjacent therapy pool at the west entrance off of Washington Avenue. The HAC will become the 10th location in the region offering services from “The Center.”
Two years ago, the HAC entered into a partnership with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital for use of the facility’s warm water pool, fitness space, and private treatment rooms by its patients. There was no mention in Wednesday’s announcement whether this new partnership with The Center would replace or augment the agreement with Mary Free Bed.
