HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 2, 2023) – Two persons were hospitalized on Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Holland’s North Side.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chris Dill following the 1 PM incident at 120th Avenue and Hickoryrow Drive, between Greenly and Quincy streets. A westbound SUV had halted for a stop sign, and then while proceeding to turn left, was struck by a northbound pickup truck that had the right of way.
A 27-year-old Fennville woman driving the SUV was taken to Holland Hospital in serious condition, while a 49-year-old Holland man driving the pickup was taken to Corewell Health-Zeeland Hospital for treatment of what Dill called a minor injury. As a result of the collision, 120th Avenue was blocked off for about an hour.
