Jerrie Lynne (Wolford) Eckert, 81, of Gladwin and Coopersville, passed away on Friday August 4, 2023.
Jerrie was born January 27, 1942, in Grand Rapids, to Jack M. and Ruby P. (Morris) Guelzo. Jerrie graduated from Godwin High School and later married Edward Wolford in 1960. Jerrie and Ed raised their children in Kentwood. Ed preceded her in death in 1988. Later Jerrie met Edward Eckert and they married. Ed Eckert preceded her in death in 2015, and she was also preceded by her brothers Jack Guelzo and Jim Guelzo.
She is survived by her children: Kathy Wolford of Coopersville, Scott and Kathy Wolford of Jenison, Tim Wolford and Kari Chirco of Grandville; her grandchildren: Stacy (Seger) Jonio, Travis (Angel) Williamson, Derek (Cynthia) Williamson, Chase Williamson, Torey Wolford, Toni Wolford, Brandon Wolford, Summer Wolford, Brenden (Madison) Wolford; 5 great-grandchildren, her brothers: Jene and Vicky Guelzo, Jan and Sandra Guelzo; and many extended family members.
A family graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park Ave., Wyoming MI 49509. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or Fountain View Assisted Living, 640 W. Randall Street, Coopersville MI 49404.
