Jennifer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and companion to her dog, Buffy. She will be missed by them and her Immanuel Church community, where she was a long-time member.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Jay Courtright Sr.; her sons: Harold “Jay” Courtright Jr. of Zeeland, Timothy Courtright/Jackie Geegan of Tennessee; grandchildren: Trent, Meredith, and Davis Courtright; siblings: Jann (Mike) Nestell of Williamston, MI; John (Brooke) Hoekje of DeWitt, MI; Jane Chorley of Laingsburg, MI; Jeff (Wendy) Hoekje of Georgia; Joan (Dr. Jerry) Nowinski of East Lansing; Jean (Brian) Beetle of Seattle, WA; mother-in-law, Marian Courtright; and sisters-in-law: Pat Burgess, and Cindy (Mike) Ekkens.
She was preceded in death by her father, John C. Hoekje Sr.; her mother, Jean (Finch) Hoekje; and her father-in-law, Harold Courtright.
Per Jennifer’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service honoring Jennifer’s life will be held at Immanuel Church at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Church.
