PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 27, 2023) – Thursday is day three of the Ottawa County Fair.
Following a 4-H dog show in the morning, the gates open at 1 PM, with the Elliott’s Amusements carnival starting an hour later, and a 4-H auction at 4 PM. Evening attractions include blues singer Michael J. Howe in the Community Tent, and the SJO Motorcross in the Grandstand.
It’s Military, Police and Firefighter Appreciation Day at the fair, with those in uniform or with appropriate ID admitted free. Admission is $5 per person, and youngsters under 12 enter free. The Ottawa County Fair at the Fairgrounds in Park Township (1286 Ottawa Beach Rd.) runs through Saturday. More information is here.
