OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 20, 2023) – Some county roads between Holland and Grand Haven are getting a facelift this summer.
Beginning on Monday, Ottawa County Road Commission crews will be working on nearly 54 miles of streets in Olive, Port Sheldon and Grand Haven townships. Alex Doty of the Commission explains just what is incorporated in this “chip seal” effort.
Work is slated to run for about a month, weather permitting.
The $1.5 million project is funded through state Department of Transportation funds. An online link to the site that monitors this work is here.
