LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan’s unemployment rate for May is down one-tenth of a percent from April to 3.7%.
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget says the labor force increased by 26,000 for the month.
The national jobless rate was up three-tenths of a percent and also stands at 3.7% percent. This is the first time since June 2018 that Michigan’s unemployment rate has matched the national rate.
