BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 10, 2023) – Three persons were hospitalized following a two-vehicle, head-on collision north of Zeeland on Saturday evening.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Road Patrol Supervisor Sergeant Keith Biros, deputies and other first responders were dispatched to 96th Avenue just south of Taylor Street shortly after 8:30 PM. That was where a southbound sedan, driving in the northbound lane, slammed into a northbound vehicle.
Both drivers – a 30-year-old Holland man in the sedan and a 28-year-old Allendale woman in the other vehicle – along with a 30-year-old Cedar Spring woman who was a passenger in the sedan, were all taken to undisclosed “local” hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Biros disclosed no names and gave no further information as to the circumstances surrounding the collision as the incident remains under investigation.
