LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 19, 2023) – Two persons from the Lakeshore will remain on statewide panels.
The office of Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced yesterday the reappointment of Dr. Stylianos Dokianakis of Saugatuck to the Michigan Board of Audiology, and of Michael Dietrich of Conklin to the Michigan Apple Committee. The owner and practicing audiologist at Holland Doctors of Audiology, Dr. Dokianakis will serve through the end of June in 2027, while Dietrich, a fifth generation farmer with 26 years of experience, and is currently the vice chairman of the committee, will serve through the first of April in 2026.
The Michigan Board of Audiology licenses audiologists and can take disciplinary action, while the Michigan Apple Committee coordinates marketing and promotion of the state’s apple industry. Both reappointments are subject to state Senate approval.
