ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 16, 2023) – A map of what direction Allegan County wants to take over the next five years is now in place.
Last Thursday, Chairman Jim Storey of Holland and his colleagues on the County Board of Commissioners approved a 2023-2027 Strategic Plan for determining the mission, vision, values, top goals, strategic initiatives and tasks for county government.
Those priorities include staff compensation and facility rehabilitation, as well as quality of life issues such as housing costs and child care availability in which Storey believes the county can help facilitate conversations among interested parties to address those matters.
