HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 12, 2023) – The 94th Tulip Time Festival continues with its seventh day of activities on Friday.
All day events include historic walking tours at Window on the Waterfront Park, along with the Tulip Immersion Garden outside of Beechwood Church. The tall ship Friends Good Will from the Michigan Maritime Museum holds tours from Boatwerks East Dock on Lake Macatawa, while the Art in Bloem fine art showcase is inside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place, the Tulip Time Quilt Show is inside Beechwood Church, and the Carnival is outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place.
The Bicycle Showband Crescendo from the Netherlands makes its American debut with three performances at Ray & Sue Smith Stadium. Dutch Dancers will perform at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place around lunchtime before holding afternoon lessons at Window on the Waterfront and evening performances at Centennial Park. Other attractions tonight include guided beverage testing is at the Tulip City Brewstillery, a performance of Nana’s Naughty Knickers at the Holland Community Theatre, and the featured national entertainment act, country music star Sara Evans, with a concert at Central Wesleyan Church.
