HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 11, 2023) – The 94th Tulip Time Festival continues with its sixth day of activities on Thursday.
All day events include historic walking tours at Window on the Waterfront Park, along with the Tulip Immersion Garden outside of Beechwood Church. The tall ship Friends Good Will from the Michigan Maritime Museum holds tours from Boatwerks East Dock on Lake Macatawa, while the Art in Bloem fine art showcase is inside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place, the Tulip Time Quilt Show is inside Beechwood Church, and the Carnival is outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place.
Downtown Holland gets caught up with the Festival as 8th Street is blocked off from Columbia Avenue to Kollen Park for the Kinderparade. Dutch Dancers will promenade on the main drag beginning at noon before the 1:30 PM parade, with coverage on 99 7/1450 WHTC beginning at 1 PM. More Dutch Dancing along 8th Street will be in the early evening, as well as a Tulip Time Photo Walk at Windmill Island Gardens, guided beverage testing is at the Tulip City Brewstillery, Nana’s Naughty Knickers performing at the Holland Community Theatre, and the group Girl Named Tom holding a concert at Central Wesleyan Church.
