HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 10, 2023) – The 94th Tulip Time Festival reaches its halfway mark on this Wednesday.
The day begins with a two-hour Tulip Time Photo Walk at Windmill Island Gardens. All day events include historic walking tours at Window on the Waterfront Park, along with the Tulip Immersion Garden outside of Beechwood Church. The tall ship Friends Good Will from the Michigan Maritime Museum holds tours from Boatwerks East Dock on Lake Macatawa, while the Art in Bloem fine art showcase is inside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place, the Tulip Time Quilt Show is inside Beechwood Church, and the Carnival is outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place.
Noontime Dutch Dancing is at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center place, with afternoon Dutch Dancing lessons at Window on the Waterfront Park before evening performances at Centennial Park. A Tulip Time Photo Walk is in the early evening at Windmill Island Gardens, while guided beverage testing is at the Tulip City Brewstillery. Nana’s Naughty Knickers is the evening performance at the Holland Community Theatre, while the American Legion Band has its annual concert, this time at a sold-out Miller Center on the Hope College Campus.
