Carol Ann Van Koevering, age 77 of Holland passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023.
She is survived by her children: Kimbra and Wayne Van Noord, and Lora and Steve Overweg; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Nicole and Erik Sellen (Neilah and Natalia), Brandon and Cara Van Noord (Dominic, Leighton, Axel, and Easton), Colin and Alyse Overweg, and Morgan and Alec Sennertt; her brother Martin and Verna De Jong; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: and Dorothy and Nick Bouma, Robert and Nancy Van Koevering, and Ruth and Carl Slenk.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Cal on July 20, 2022.
Carol was born in Allendale on January 23, 1946, to Martin and Adriana De Jong. Carol owned Carol’s Bridal Shop. She and Cal spent their winters at their home on Nettle’s Island. Carol enjoyed playing cards, and bocci ball, volunteering her time at Nettle’s Island Church, and singing in the choir there. She was a member of Beechwood Church in Holland.
A time of visitation will be from 10-11:30 am Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 am.
