WAYLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 2, 2023) – There is now closure for the family of a 62-year-old Wayland man who had been reported missing nine months ago.
On Tuesday, the Wayland Police Department announced that a body found on April 11 in an area off of US-131 near Windsor Woods Village was indeed that of Ronald Jenson. He had lived nearby and was reported missing last August 2nd.
In making the initial discovery, officers believed that the body had been there for several months. An investigation by the Allegan County Medical Examiner’s office, along with medical staffers from Western Michigan University, made a positive identification, and determined that Mr. Jenson had succumbed to natural causes, with no signs of any foul play.
