HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 1, 2023) – The search is on for whoever fired shots in a neighborhood on Holland’s North Side during the overnight hours on Sunday.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Christopher Dill, deputies were dispatched to the area of Lakewood Boulevard and Douglas Avenue around 4:30 AM on a report of shots heard. They found several spent shell casings in the roadway, along with evidence that a nearby house was hit by gunfire. Nobody inside of the residence was wounded, and no suspect or suspects were immediately located.
The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
