WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday declined an invitation to appear at an upcoming hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee that is expected to focus on judicial ethics, according to a letter Roberts sent the committee chair.
