Time for Holland to awaken from its winter slumber.
It’s akin to a bear stirring from winter hibernation, as the Tulip City rouses ahead of the 94th Tulip Time Festival that begins on May 6th. The flowers are starting to bloom, with the early risers already on display, and others nearing the stage to take their curtain calls from the throngs that descend upon the Lakeshore for Holland’s annual signature event.
Speaking of stages, the production of the motion picture “Holland, Michigan” has descended upon Windmill Island Gardens, blocking off that public park from the public for Apr. 24th and 25th for the only on-site shooting in the film. The rest of the production is being done in Clarksville, Tennessee.
More Postcards are coming, as well as Tulip Time-specific photo galleries.
Thanks!
