Luong Diep, age 97 of Wyoming, MI passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023.
He is survived by his children: Hollie and Scott Newton, Sam and Joanne Diep, Du Duong, and Du Truong, and Hannah and Daniel Rucker; his grandchildren: Shawn Newton, Sidney Newton, Marshal Diep, Lindsey Diep, Cayman Diep, Fiji Diep, and Ciana Rucker.
Luong was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Duong Diep in 2011.
Luong and his family immigrated from Vietnam to the United States in 1980. Luong worked for many years at Westwood United Methodist Church in Kalamazoo who sponsored him and his family from Vietnam. He was very grateful to his church for giving his family the opportunity of a better life.
