DUNDEE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — And talk about some crazy spring weather.
A tornado touched down in Southeast Michigan on Saturday according to the National Weather Service.
Weather officials say the tornado caused some damage as it made it’s way through the town of Dundee a few minutes past 11 a.m. with estimated wind speeds of 80 miles per hour.
The tornado developed as a line of severe storms moved through the area, bringing both rain and hail.
The width of the tornado’s path was about 75 yards. The tornado reportedly touched down at the intersection of Brewer and Petersburg roads at 11: 03 a.m. and lifted off the ground by 11:08 a.m. near Dixon and Sullivan roads.
There were no injuries reported.
