Sometimes it’s nice to take a stroll around downtown Holland … and sometimes it’s just days such as Friday that the images make the walk in the cold and the snow worth it.
We finally have some winter scenes to show you in our online “Postcards from Holland” photo gallery series. It may have been a “Winter Weather Advisory” from the National Weather Service office in Grand Rapids for the Holland area, but the 3-5 inches that fell in about a 12-hour span made for some slushy conditions on roadways and some nice images to capture. It was worth the one slip and fall (no scribe was injured during this particular exercise).
Anyway, by the end of the weekend, all this will be gone … and it’s full steam ahead to the Tulip Time Festival in eight weeks!
Thanks!
