Donald Nivison, age 96, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Donald was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Navy.
Donald and Viola were married for 76 years; he dearly loved and enjoyed his family. Donald will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Viola; his children, Diana and Lee Haarsma, Vicki and Wayne Pretzer, Janice and Scott Morrison, Jeanne, and Tom Haveman; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Arlene and Del Schrotenboer; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service for the family is being planned for a later date.
Don’s family would like to thank the staff of Appledorn Assisted Living South and Spectrum Hospice for all their care of Don. Arrangements are being made by Lakeshore Memorial Services of Holland.
