Jacob A. Green, age 20, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 23, 2023.
He is survived by his mother Michelle L. Green, his siblings: Aeron Green, and Evelyn Green; his girlfriend Aliyah Bloodworth; his grandparents: Richard Van Auken, and Duane and Dawn Bucklin; great grandparents: Sara Van Auken, and Nellie Varner; aunts and uncles: Laurel Van Auken, Christopher Green, and Benjamin Van Auken, Brad Bucklin, Pete, and Michelle Bucklin, Shawn and Sandra Bucklin, and Wayne Bucklin; cousins: Mixy Green, Jaxon Green, Westin Van Auken, Jamie Holt, Elizabeth Bucklin, Cash Bucklin, Cara Bucklin, Brock Bucklin, Carson Bucklin, and his large, loving extended family.
Jacob was preceded in death by his father Cpl. Brock L. Bucklin who died serving his country in Iraq in 2006, and his grandmother, Firefighter/First Responder Gail Van Auken, who died serving her community in 2000
Jacob attended Hamilton High School. He was currently attending MSU Electrical Journeyman’s Program. Jacob took great pride in his career at Grand Electric.
Jacob was a master angler, car enthusiast, gearhead, musical connoisseur, camping and canoeing pro, and he was a practical jokester extraordinaire.
Jacob had a big heart and loved everyone; he will be missed.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday, January 27, 2023, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Overisel Reformed Church, 4706 142nd Ave., Holland, MI.
