Lloyd Lubbers, age 89, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022.
Lloyd graduated from Holland High School and served in the Army. He married the love of his life, Mary, and together they started their family. Lloyd was a milkman for Rivulet Hurst Dairy before becoming a realtor for the remainder of his career retiring from Five Star Realty. Lloyd was graciously engaged in Give Kids the World in Florida. Youth for Christ, and the Gideons. He was a man of many hobbies enjoying life and living it to the fullest. He was a strong Christian man and lived it and worked it every day. He was a kind, humble, and honest man of integrity. Family was the highest priority for him. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lubbers; son, Scott and Lydia Lubbers; son, Mike and Judy Lubbers; daughter, Lori and Tom Myrick; grandchildren; Stephanie and Kevin Stein (Bradley, Caroline, Sawyer, Samuel), Tyler and Andrea Lubbers (Lukas, Cameron), Andy Vaught, Kayla and Trevor Hearl, Ericka and Dave Risko (Jake, Kate, Logan), Brittany and Brock Finnested, Hunter Myrick [Tiffany Eisen]; brother, Dave and Barb Lubbers; brother, Vaughn and Kathy Lubbers; sister-in-law, Shirley Diepenhorst; sister-in-law, Sandy DeWys; sister-in-law, Judy, and Rich Bauman; brother-in-law, Roger Wyngarden; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 11:00 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Christ Memorial Church chapel, 595 Graafschap Rd, Holland, MI officiated by Rev. Bill Boersma. Visitation with the family will precede the service and start at 10:00 am, also taking place at the church.
Burial to take place in Graafschap Cemetery.
